President’s Piece

What a very good year we have enjoyed even without being able to meet face to face, but it has come at a loss for members not into Zoom.

We are still with Zoom and look forward to a good summer, an interesting programme and assignments for members to undertake and share.

High on our priorities is opening again in the Whickham Community Centre in September. We particularly welcome the chance to reunite with members not into Zoom and with new members who we have only met on Zoom, but just to come together again and chat face to face will be something to look forward to.

We have come to value Zoom in its own right, not just as a way of coping with Covid restrictions and staying safe, so it is very likely to have a part to play in our future.

Welcome to all who would like to join us or just come along for a few sessions to try it out.
