President’s Piece
Hello and welcome to the 2025-2026 season here at Whickham Photographic Club. Welcome to our photography club! We are a diverse group of photographers, ranging from beginners to seasoned professionals who come together to share our passion for photography in an informal and friendly environment.
Whether you’re just starting out by taking pictures with your phone, or have years of experience with a professional camera, we welcome you to join us and learn new skills and experiences within our community.
Whickham Photographic Club is back with a new season of exciting events, presentations, and competitions starting this September 06th. Join us on Friday nights at Whickham Community Centre at 7:15 for 7.30pm, to learn new techniques, share your experiences, and meet like-minded people who share your love for photography.
As a club we embrace new technology and techniques, holding interesting and informative hands-on evenings on subjects such as studio lighting techniques, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and drone photography to name but a few.
As President I would like to personally offer you the opportunity to come along and try us out, enjoy light refreshments and see how we can add further enjoyment and knowledge to your hobby.
